All Projects

All Projects is where a project is created and tracked at a glance: status, priority, budget, and who's on it. Testing Hub has none yet, so its counters (total, active, completed, on hold) all sit at zero.

Create a project

Create Project opens a 4-step sheet: Basics, Team & Funding, Plans (P1), and Review. A step-progress bar at the top lets you jump back to any step you've already visited.

1
On the Basics step, give the project a name (required), an optional short abbreviation, and a description. Set a status (Planning, Active, On Hold, Completed, or Cancelled), a priority (Low, Medium, High, or Critical), a start and end date, a cover colour, and comma-separated tags.
2
On Team & Funding, set a budget paired with a currency (GHS by default, or USD, EUR, GBP, NGN, KES, or ZAR), a manager, and members. Add any funders (name, amount, notes) and other reference documents, separate from the Plans checklist.
3
On Plans (P1), paste a link for each of the 7 required documents. A badge tracks how many of the 7 are filled in.
4
Review the summary, then click Save.

Manager and members

Both fields are searchable rather than plain dropdowns: Manager opens a filterable list of staff, and Members opens a multi-select of the same list with each pick shown as a removable chip beneath it.

The Plans (P1) checklist

Each of the 7 items is a pasted link (Google Docs, Drive, or similar) rather than an uploaded file: Project Proposal & Work Plan, Financial Plan (Budget), Procurement Plan, Recruitment Plan, Reporting Plan, Travel Plan, and Risk Management Plan. A project's card shows its progress as a Plans x/7 badge next to its status and priority.

Plans gate what a project can do

A project can always save as Planning or Cancelled with the Plans checklist incomplete. Choosing any other status (Active, On Hold, Completed) without all 7 links in place doesn't error out: it silently saves the project as Planning instead, with a warning toast explaining why. The same completeness also decides whether the project shows up as a selectable project on a procurement request — see Procurement.

Edit a project

Click the edit icon on a project's card to reopen the same 4-step sheet, prefilled with its current details, including whatever Plans links have already been added.
